Basically, I erased the E: drive without reeading the warnings. I wanted to start the softmode over, so I decided to erase the drive. Anybody know how to fix this? Where do I find the original files on the E: drive?

My version of the XBox is 1.0, manufactured on 04-17-2002.

Thank you for any help!

You're screwed if you don't have a backup tbh.

Could I get another XBox manufactured the same date and softmod that one, FTP and copy the backup files to my xBox, then unmod the other xBox?

Or is my only option now a modchip?

How would you FTP to a non-functioning box?

You still have C: intact apparently which is good as that the MS dash and the majority of the exploit (if it's a decent softmod, that is), but the dash that was on E: is gone, so no FTP.

I assue (perhaps incorrectly ATM) that you're getting error 21 at boot? If so, perhaps you could hotswap in (not easy but doable on a 21) and rebuild the E drive with XboxHDM.

The XBox still functions normally as I installed the original MS Dashboard. I think the eeprom is still EVox though. When I load up the XBox, it goes to the MS Dashboard. To get to EVox dashboard, I gotta go through the Splint Cell method. But when I hit the linux file, it goes to the dashboard that says uninstall softmod, specify fonts, copy eeprom to MN, settungs, reboot, shutdown.

Sorry for the crappy picture, but it's my camera phone.

Couldn't tell by the picture, but do you have an IP address?

If so, you could get Udata and Tdata and FTP it over. Copy Krazie's to the Udata folder and use that.
