I was wondering if the the Kreon Alternative FW for the Samsung SH-D162C drive v0.8 will work if the drive is being operated as an external USB drive via an external EIDE to USB 2.0 case. I mostly work overseas and only have access to my laptop. In other words can I make 360 backups with the SH-DI62C drive if its in an external case instead of plugged straight into the motherboard. I know by all means it should, but I am just double checking to make sure. It is very dusty over there and would feel a lot better keeping my originals locked up and use the backups
