Hye i got my sisters fiancee xbox, i was in major modding ages ago but he said my nephew dropped a cup of water and it landed in the xbox.. any advice on how to fix the non booting problem. Wen its all plug in it wont turn on at all..

probably needs a new psu, have you taken off the case and had a look at the damage?

Most likely a PSU problem.

Damn i wasnt hoping it wud come down to that.... Anyways of checking PSU 2 see if it works?
I dunno wana spend some money if it aint it lol

The water most likely made a short between the transformers and fried them, go to the BST section and get a used one.

it wasnt off mate, it was sealed the only time ive opened it for it 2 change the Dvd-drive to a samsung it was fully closed it supposedly fell down the back and now nothing turns on lol

Then if water were poured onto the top, it would roll towards the sides based on the case's shape. It probably dripped in through the vents on the side and now you have a fried PSU.

It could be that everything is fried.

Althoght that is unlikely

i dont htink there is any way to check if JUST the psu is working.... you can pick one up for about $20......
