HELP!! My xbox will not boot. It was fine until i left it unplugged for a month when I went on vacation, then when I got back I turned it on and it boots to the ms dash and i get the 05 error and flashing red and green led lights. The chip that i have is a xenium ice.

Error 05 comes up when the HDD is unlocked and you boot to the default dash. It sounds like you are starting your xbox with the chip disabled. Make sure you have everything set for the chip to run and try it again. If that doesn't work, open up your box and make certain everything is still connected.

but my chip is on and everything is connected!!

When i read your title i was thinking your PSU is dead but im pretty sure a wire came loose on your chip??? let me know what you do to fix it!!

I solved my problem. Tell me, are you using a V1.6 Solderless adapter? How is the chip connected to the mobo?
