i downloaded evoX for a dashboard, and surreal64, nester X, XZsnesx(spell?) & Xboy advance for emulators all to my pc. my dvd drive is being a little bitch, so i want to either connect my HDD to my pc and transfer files or ftp and transfer files (i think its essentially the same thing) so i just want to know what files to put where. if i connect to my PC i use xplorer360 which partitions do i put stuff or if i ftp which partition?
And i downloaded 2 dif linux files, Gentoox and Xebian. which is better in opinion and how would i get that onto xbox as well.

FTP is VERY different to using Xplorer. It's the better route.
