I was just wondering what would happen if Master Chief took off his helmet in Halo 3 and (drum roll) he was Asian! I've heard his face is described in books as being a white guy, but come on the books are not official. If Master Chief was Asian, not saying he is, maybe that could be a strategy to get Japanese people to buy 360s and play Halo 3. Just a wild idea I had, what do you guys think? If he was Asian do you think that the Japanese would play it?

Maybe if it was turn based they'd like it. But anyways, isn't Denzel Washington playing the Master Chief in the up-and-coming movie? So I don't think that they'd make him Asian if he was played by a black guy in real life.

That was a rumor. He's slated to be IN the movie, but I can't see one of Hollywood's top actors playing a roll where he is 100% under a helmet. They can get a stunt-man to play MC. I think Denzel will be one of the black characters from the game...Sgt. Johnson probably.

Technically in the books he's a white guy, and he's almost albino from never taking his suite off too. They are just going to get one of those big as guy from Lord of the Rings, and dub a voice in. That would make the most sense to me.

The day master chief takes off his helmet is the day I stop playing it. I like the fact of a undercover super hero fighting for earth. I dont want to ruin his masculinity by knowing that an Albino, Asian Lord of the rings character is under that helmet. It would devastate me as a human being to know what he looks like.

I think Denzel will play Sgt. Johnson or that other black guy. Master Chief could be Asian, but it is very doubtful. But then again, Yao Ming is between 7-8 feet tall and he's asian. I think that he is most likely white however. How can there be an albino black man? And if he was albino, he would have skin cancer by now from being out in space for so long and exposed to the sun.

You people seem to be just fitting actors color with game characters.... Denzels known acting roles in no way portray any of the soldiers acting roles. If anything Samuel L Jackson for Sgt. Johnson. I'm almost guaranteeing SLJ for that role.
