Okay I burned games onto Sony DVD-Rs and the discs are verified after burning so no errors.
When I stick them in my xbox they read.. but conker loads extra slow and such. The Splinter Cell Chaos Theory intro skips a little.
When I play Conker the music int he background isnt there.
Tomb Raider Legend loads a little slow.

all this happens but honestly I think that it's because the surface of the DVD-Rs are too dark.
I have a Philips drive that's pot modded in my xbox.
Is their anyway to get my xbox to read these discs better without having to burn them to another brand of DVD-R... the DVDs are perfect... all verified data.
I really wanna know... will i have to pot mod my laser again or something?
I'd really appreciate anybody who responds tot his i need all the responses I can get.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and i really appreciate all who help.

Can you be sure that when you ripped the origional discs that they werent scratched? Becuause I have used dark discs before in my brothers xbox with a phillips drive which I pot modded for him, and they worked fine.
If you have hards drive space, try ripping the origionals to the hard drive and see if they play correctly.

Yes I'm sure the discs werent scratched... have you used Sony DVD-R's before and got them to work?
just curious I'm wondering if I'll have to tweak my laser again and such...
thanks a lot for telling me and I really hope something can help.
