Hi all
first off respect to everyone here, its nice to see a scene regulate itself and weed out unwanted elements..

im posting this because a friend wants me to put another hdd in his chipped box.

can i just swap them out ?

wich files/system needs to be on the new disk ?, or can i just use a autoinstaller (like thos from evox etc ?)

Yes. Any IDE (P)ATA drive will work.

Yes, you'll want to boot an autoinstaller like Slayer's and have it format the drive to FATX and install the MSDash.

No. You have to get the eeprom of the target Xbox and build a drive using your PC and XboxHDM. Check the XBE Exploits forum for the XboxHDM tutorials and download.

with your freinds chipped xbox, you could just ftp all the files from it to your pc, use an autoinstaller
disc to format the drive then just ftp everything back
