Hello, ive just cleared my jewel, but it didnt turn out very nice. It kinda cracked in the middle but its not fully cracked yet so ill hope it wont . Anyway, i just ordered 10 Blue LEDS 5 mm from Sickmods and a 10 ohm 1 watt resistor. Now im just waiting to get it shipped. Will the leds be enuff for a good jewel mod?

Im also thinking of adding a little pc case fan and superglueing it to the jewel so that when i turn on my xbox, the jewel spin. itll add a nice effect to the leds lol. Anyway, ill keep you up to date.

What did you use to clear the Jewel to make it crack?

Also, I only have 8 in my xbox jewelwise, and it's plenty bright enough, so 10 will be plenty.

I read one of the tutorials here and the guy was using 8 LEDS and it was pretty birght. I might use 8 and use the remaining 2 on the controler ports Ill take a pic tomorow (its 12:13 ma now) of my jewel ull see the crack. I used nail polish removal or some crap lol.

Yea I used nail polish remover as well, and regret it. My jewel cracked and shortly after snapped right down the middle, so now I have no jewel.
