I just recently had my xbox modded, and everything was running smooth untill about a week ago, when i was doing a long upload of TV to my xbox harddrive (250GB).

At first it would only happen on long uploads, but now its happening almost all the time. Im not really a techy person, and even my friend who modded the xbox for me, has no idea why it would do this.

Do any of you have any suggestions?

MY only real thought is that it is over heating, but why is confusing as it only happens on uploads, never when i play NCAA 07 for hours at a time.

ANy help would be great.

How is your Xbox networked to your computer?

Xbox ---> Router ----> Computer

Have you tried unplugging your router from power for at least a minute? If that doesn't yield any positive results, I would try restoring it to its factory settings.

Also, what application are you using to transfer data to your Xbox, and what is your Xbox's current dashboard?

Im using FlashFXP on the computer to upload to the xbox.

Im not sure how to find out the version of the Dashboard im using, My friend says im using XBMC the newest version, but he doesnt know which version it would be.

any ideas anyone ?

If i can fix this problem, im gonna have to resort to buring DVD's and the copying them to the xbox, which works perfectly.
