I am trying to use MAMEoX128_Plus! ver20060505 on my ver 1.0 Xbox with Xecuter2 modchip. When I got to my emulators in my dash I see it there but when I try to load it nothing happens. It just seems to kinda lock up. Any help would be appreciated.

Remove the mame save from the msdash and reboot and try again.

This mame save in the msdash that you are talking about.....was it already there even before I FTP'd over MAMEoX128_Plus!_ver20060505?

If you used a previous version of MAME128 it was.
VampX
Most likely not. (unless you used another version of mame before installing 128plus)

Just remove the savegame from the msdash and reboot and try running the emu again.

Ok I have never had a previous version of MAME on my Xbox.

I went into the MS Dash and selected "Memory". It shows all of my saves but I do not see anything for MAME. Will it be named something else?
rf7
Maybe I don't have a good copy of MAMEoX128_Plus!_ver20060505 although I have downloaded it now from two different sources and tried each. Neither have worked.

Another thought.....I have not upgraded my RAM. Do I need 128 Mb RAM to run Mameox128?

I hope you're not serious about that question. So you figured the 128 was just a fancy number?

You do not need 128mb of RAM, however it supports an Xbox with the RAM upgrade. There are a few games that won't run on a 64mb Xbox, but most will with or without the upgrade.

By the way, what dashboard are you using to launch it? If evox, that could be the issue. In that case, I'd switch to UnleashX.
