Hi, im brand new here, and pretty new to my x-box, but dont really know where else to go at the moment.

I have had my x-box for 3 weeks, no problems.

UNTIL, i bought Just Cause on Saturday.

Everytime i start the game up, the game shuts down and sends me back to the 360 main menu/dashboard. This can happen after 30 seconds or up to 5 mins.

Anybody heard of this is with this game or any other? And if so what can i do bar calling MS?

I have Call of Duty 2, Test Drive Unlimited and a couple of others which all run fine!

Any Ideas?

Is it asking for a update? Does it just boot you back to the dash? When it does are you still signed into live?

If you never been on live connect 360 to network at update the dash.


Is this a retail disc or a backup?

No, no mention of an update, just before the game gets back to the dash, there is somethign displayed on a panel on the right side of teh screen, but it dissapears way to fast to read. then thats it, all you can do is reboot the game!

there doesnt seem to be any patches available yet?
