I just recently updated to XBMC 2.0.0. I'm currently having a couple of problems with it.

A: I can't FTP in. There isn't a username for FTPing in. The whole ftp name and password are gone in the network config menu.

B: The games/emulators/apps folders have databases, and it goes to update them, but gets stuck. I can't cancel it, and it won't ever finish updating.

Are there any solutions to these problems?

how did you update to 2.0.0? did you FTP over current XBMC folder? FTP to new folder?

I have always FTP'd new builds as an App to test out, and then use a different Dash to FTP delete/rename old XBMC folder, and copy new one in its place.

I ftped over the current xbmc folder.

load a different Dash (Avalaunch, EvolutionX, UnleashX) FTP connect to your xbox from PC, rename current XBMC folder, and copy 2.0.0 to a new folder with same name as old XBMC folder.

Both of your problems are nonexistant on my Xbox. Try following the directions in the README to do a proper installation.

FTP from your PC to the xbox a different dashboard, it has to be installed in a Apps folder and sub folder of dash name, ie:

E:\Apps\Avalaunch

then in XBMC, My Programs, back one folder, Programs, Avalaunch
