and is it this drive: Toshiba-Samsung TS-H943 Drive
or this one: Samsung SH-D162C PC Drive

im not real sure if you can if you havent opened it yet but if you did just check the botom of the drive and it should say F/W 25 or F/w 28, and if you haev a ms 28 good luck ive havent flashed any of them yet but therers tons of help on how to.

The MS28 is slightly harder to flash. It requires timing of certain things to get it to flash or it requires desoldering of a resistor and adding a switch.
