this is how it started out...

motherboard: ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe

my 360 had the first sammy xtreme firmware..... so, when 3.3 hit, i felt it was time to update.

so i hex edit the bin, patch it, plug my 360 in....mtkflash w /m orighack.bin (saving the original hacked xtreme bin..always good to backup!)

hit 2 (master sata like always)...the eject light blinks like it's being programmed...but....nothing...

so, i fought with it for HOURS..... nothing..thought it was my 360.

today a friend got a 360....plugged her in..SAME THING, untouched 360..so now i knew it wasnt my 360...

took them over to a friends house, brought all the fw on disc, etc etc...

NO PROBLEM, mtkflash did both system in a heart beat (P5P800 asus motherboard)

but, i did my system, and others for friends on this pc. and nothing has changed!?!?!?!?!

any suggestions?

i've upgraded my pc bios, downgraded my pc bios, messed with every SATA/RAID setting in my bios.....

no clue at this point..but...maybe someone else out there knows something im by chance missing

anyone got any real advice for nf4 chipsets? (problems out of no where it seems)

Way to alienate people trying to help. Even so....maybe you are using the unediting mtkflash...there is a special one for nf4 chipsets...maybe you used the one that came with the 3.3 firmware? There is apperently a batch file that does it all for you now that is actually stable. I don't recall the name as I have only flashed Hitachis.

i've used this same MTKFLASH before for nforce4 on this board these sata cables.

just. out of no where..whammo..no samsungs...... weird as hell...i hate nforce4.
