Hi

i realised after reading so many, i noticed not many people have thought about the thermal sensor that reads the temperature. This how it makes the cpu fan go faster wehen it gets hotter. But obviously i can't tell you much because i haven't heard much about it. But my other question as well is if your xbox360 turns off every 5mins from crashing but if i open it and i left the case off would it play ok for awhile.

It has more to do with poor thermal compound between the cpu and/or gpu die and their respective heatsinks.

In most cases replacing the thermal compound with a high quality material like Arctic Silver 5 fixes the issue.
