I thought it would be cool to make a thread where people can post/discuss/create ideas and projects for different bg animations, We all know how cool the bg animations are while browsing through MC360, some of my ideas for different bg anims would be...

1. Lightning
- a quick flash then it fades out
2. Rain
-no explanation really

I would Just like to add, that even though there are 41 Frames in the default background animation, you can still use less or more in your own background, its totally up to you. XBMC Only loads the multimage from one location, so the one in your theme.

Also many people think the images have to be named background-01, background-02, etc., etc. you can name the images anything you want, just make sure they are named to play in the right order. I just use 01, 02, 03, etc.


Also I think a background animation that looked like ocean waves would look pretty cool, or one of a sphere that just bounced around would be all right as well. Or something like the blobs in the pm blobs screensaver.

Well we now have more animations than we can use, so I will be looking at some form of options to maybe adjust which background animation is used. Dunno yet.

I have used that option in the mod for a little while now, and I freaking love it. It would be sweet if it was in an official build. Personally my favorite animation is the one that comes in the MC360 skin for unleash-x, just flipped horizonatlly and vertically.

That would be neat.
