I have a hitatchi drive in my 360 that has been flashed so I can play burned backup games. I have the samsung SH-D162C DVD-ROM that I used to create the .dvd and .iso files using XBOX Backup Creator. I then burned the image using CloneCD.
When I put the disc into my 360 all I get is the dirty disc please clean it with a cloth error.. anyone know where im going wrong here??? i've been banging my head against the wall for the past week trying to get this to work and I dont feel like making coaster #7
any help is much appreciated...
I forgot to mention that I am using Fuji DVD+R DL media on a Sony DRU-800A burner to create thebackups..
thanks

i was having the same problem. so i flashed back to my original firmware, then put on the birdy 2.0 media compatibility patch and all the disks that didn't work with xtreme hitachi 7-in-1 2.1 firmware.

You will definitely need the latest mediacheck firmware for the Hitachi since the Sony by nature doesn't get along with the Hitachi. That being said, Fujifilm (Ritek D01) DVD+R is far from the best media to be using. I would do the update then test the Fuji and if that doesn't work then get some Verbatims.
