Could you be any more vague? Which firmware revision for the Plextor? Which media? Which 360 DVD-ROM and firmware revision do you have? Which software did you use to back it up? We need this info before anyone can give you a plausible answer. If you haven't attempted it yet then we still need to know exactly what your setup is before we can give you a straight answer.

Samsung TS-H943
Samsung SH-D126C w/Kreon 0.81
SchtromXtract 2.1
Plextor: PX-740A
IMGburn
Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x

I havent attempted it yet as I still have to flash my 360 DVD Drive with Xtreme 3.2 FW.
I am only asking if someone has this model DVD burner and had any success using
any of the FW, Backup Programs That are out.
I am going to attempt this anyway using these pograms asap.
But I figured I'd ask if by chance anyone has this Plextor DVD Burner
and backed up onto a Verbatim disc or any other.

Should work just fine, be sure to set the booktype to DVD-ROM before burning though.
Igneous
i use 740A w/ bitsetting to dvd-rom for the +R DL discs (i'm actually using memorex discs i bought from staples (dvdinfo pro says they're riteks) and i haven't had any problems so far. the only wierd thing that happend to me (i dont know if this could be media related) was in NBA2k7 in street mode the game went into replay mode out of nowhere and i had to quit game to get out of it. i'm using Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_2_Stealth & my drive is hitachi -0047

So... it should work right? I'm trying to change my Plextor 740A's booktype but on DvdInfoPro all I find is DVD+R and DVD+RW, no DL... is this normal?

I already updated to the newest firmware
