Hey guys I was wondering if the LG GDR-8164 is a good DVD-ROM drive to use for backing up 360 games using the hotswap method. I know about using this GDR-8164 as a replacement drive for the origional xbox, but im just looking into this drive for the sole purpose of using this drive to rip 360 games using the hotswap method, nothing Xbox1 related. So will this drive regognise 360 games out of the box or does it need a firmware update? is anyone using this drive in their pc to rip games?

I'm interested in this as well.
I have one with the adapter connected in my pc.
How would I rip 360 games?
