Okay, I recently bought a 360 and I got the Samsung Drive. However, I was hoping to buy the X360 USB with Connectivity Kit v2, but unfortunately it's not compatible with the the Samsung drive.

Is the Hitachi drive overall better to have and easier to flash and hack? sad.gif

My XBOX 360 was made in June, 2006. What are the odds I have an MS25 Samsung Vs. MS28 Samsung without opening it up?

Are you joking me, Hitachi is by far the easiest.

Children... Children... they are both easy... even an MS28 drive is not that difficult..

I was reading some tidbits on IRC, is it true that firmware stealth is unavailable for the Samsung Drive? huh.gif

I found the hitachi pretty easy to flash if you have any background with computers. For a novice, I would read all tutorials about your drive and fully understand what you're dealing with. With my hitachi, I didn't have to buy any extra tools to flash it correctly. Then again, I'm fortunate to have a PC with onboard SATA ports and extra SATA cables.
