i had a thread like this a while ago on the same thing. whoever replied said it should work fine. i have one of those discs sitting right here, but ive never tried it. it should work the same as any dvd, just double-sided. they are kinda expensive though. id just stick with the normal ones. and since they are double sided, no place for a label or anything!

I don't think any of the current burners would be able to handle dual layer media even it if were available.

Yeah , I think most burners are able to read dual layer, but are not able to burn dual layer.

Trust me, I'll bet $100 U.S. that the movie industry is behind the 4.7gb size limit that we have seen so far on most discs. I don't trust those bastards at all. Just paranoid!

the 4.37 gb dvdr(rw) that are available everywhere are single layer dvd-5 and the dual layer is dvd-9 and its pressed not burns. even if have a blank dual layer dvdr ..you wouldnt able to burn it at all....its like two dvd-5 pressed on top of each other
