Hey I flashed my xbox 360 to the Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_2_Stealth
After it finished flashing, I tried to play an retail xbox 360 game and a white message came up saying to please insert the game disk into an xbox 360 console? What is wrong?

The key is gone; try recover it from the backup file. Suggest get someone who is experience to do this recovery else u're in danger bricking the whole console.

I know how to restore it. I did it 2ce so far. I just went to DOS and ran Restore.bat
But my question is why is it doing this?

Did you follow the instructions carefully? You've might of missed a step. Does your operating system still see the xbox drive?
Avengedfuries
Yes it does, and i did exactly what it said
C:\Firmware\Flash22S G 1234
Avengedfuries
Ok i just tried version 2.1 but same thing happens
To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 Console

I did the samething yesterday dude I have been so busy with Exams I haven't had time to really read up on all the flashers and just figured birdy's worked because it was on the front page of this site, and it screwed my drive totally. We are basically screwed luckly mine was a launch console so MS is sending me another. I hope you can get another drive or another console.

@Avengedfuries
Can you compare the keys from your was.bin from your first flashing attempt and the second.
Are they the same key?
Use the Maximus 360 Firmware Toolbox to find out.

Yeah but my PC still reads the drive why cant I flash it back to original or cant I try flashing it with another program. uhh.gif Any other options out there?

YEAh your key isnt patch onto the hacked fw you can do it two ways hexedit it or use a program... i would hexedit it so you know it matches.. theres a tut that helps for the samsung and hitachi combined tut
Junglelistic
I used KDX for the keys then save it and flash the drive, but still when I restore the original it still acts up.And if I hexedit it and get the key will it work is there still hope for ME thanks mikesmooth

@cyclops69
Yes i just checked, Was and Now are both the same key
Junglelistic
And when I check with Maximus - 360 FIRMWARE TOOLBOX I copy my key to xtrm-e.bin know my original fw and the hack one have the same key. But with KDX 1.1 and KDX 1.5 give me a warning that "This firmware is encrypted (or unkown) Patching is under YOUR responsibility" and it give me a differnt dvd key. I guest I'll hexedit to be sure.
Kramer987
i sent you a PM.

STAY AWAY from that birdy patcher. it is bad news! dontyou guys read before you do this stuff to your expensive consoles!? sheesh! tongue.gif

Junglelistic
I did but they also say they fix the bug when I did my 360 later on I found out again that it has bugs thats why I did it if I knew that before doing it I would do it manually with cmd comamands. Well thanks for letting me know sad.gif
