Some might laugh..

However, I'm horrible at math . I just want to know how many leds are good enough to light up the inside of the xbox.

So I need...

1. how many leds
2. what kind of resistor
3. what kind of wire
4. what power source should i use


I've checked the screen shots out from some websites so I have an idea at least where to connect it and what not... I just want to make sure I have the right stuff being connected not to ruin anything.

Soldering is not an issue.

WELL what I did was I look on the tut area under alternate 12v sources posted by xboxexpert. I did that mod bought the 12v adapter from Radio Shack and the Size M plug. It cost about 25 bucks including taxes. I went ahead and bought the one that let me switch up to 24 volts. Then I BOUGHT the lazer leds to keep it simple cut the red and black wires. wire them all together tire them into the plug. Drill a small hole into the inner and outer case. Then made sure that was my location and plug the thing into the wall. BAM 12v led lights and no sodering into the mother board. Took about 20 to 45 min. Why the leds light because the come with already everything together.
