when i try to play my xbox 1 backup it sais "This is an xbox game disc Please put it in your xbox to start playing"

When I open the disc on my pc it has only video_ts but before i burned it i had a look in wx360 and i could see all the files. The image is 7.92 ( It's halo 2 ) Is this correct? Im not sure what im doing wrong can someone help me.

hi there, sorry if i sounded silly, did you update your 360 console to play xbox1 games/backups? i got the same problem but someone in this forum pointer out to me to do an update. this is found inside xbox website. i made a disc from m$ .iso file and just load it into my 360 console. the rest is menu driven. from that day, i could play xbox1 games/backups. cheers!!

well, before i update my console, as soon as i put my original xbox1 disc in, same theing, the message comes out. you must download the .iso from xbox.com and burn to a cd-rw or equivalent and put in this disc into your console. it will then update your console. after that, remove this update disc and load your xbox1 game/backup disc and try. should work.....
