K I want to get your opinions, with call of duty 2, I got bored quick cause all you do is shoot people. Theres no real strategy or objectives. I think I'm done with call of duty games are you?
yesterday I did my pre-order for my usual best games quarterly 
first choice was COD3 followed by GOW and Splinter Cell..
COD2 was and is my favourite in all times surely on XBL it never gets annoying...blasphemy

multiplayer look much more improved

As much as i love call of duty 2, i would say to rent CoD3 first if you think that CoD2 is boring.
But CoD3 will have better designed and less-linear maps, better AI, and more intense levels than CoD2.
Done with COD??? hell no!!! do you play online? i can see offline getting old real fast...but i still play it online and have fun...i will be getting COD3 asap!!
