I was wondering when the new Xbox 360 HD-DVD Drive comes out since there is no HDMI port will it be able to play movies in 1080p format? I was thinking of getting a Westinghouse 47" LCD and if the movies for the 360 HD add on are not 1080p what is the use...

I know the PS3 is comeing out with a HDMI port, and I will be upset paying 400 USD for a system if MS comes out with a new motherboard with HDMI.

Cant I get 1080p via another source rather than HDMI when the new HD-DVD Drive comes out November?

Another Question.

I have the CORE system with the HD Cable. What is that small black connector port on the part that connects to the plug that goes into the 360?

Also my grandfather has the 42" Westinghouse LCD and it is sweet! Does anyone know if Monster Cables makes a good cable for the 360?

I really am hopeing for HDMI...
