I bought a 360 hitachi drive v32 that was located in hong kong. Ebay is acting up right now so I cant give a link. I finally got it today after 12 days to find that there is no SATA port but only a IDE port... Looks awfully similar to a xbox1 drive.. Im wondering if this is a mistake or whats going on here.. did the v32 drive have IDE and I just didnt know? bah..

Do they even make a hitachi for the original xbox?

That definitly is NOT a 360 Drive. I'd submit a paypal item dispute. Get your money back.

couldn't help but notice that the drive has a march 2005 manufacture date, do 360 drives even have manufacture dates that old? where the system came on november 2005, i figured the oldest parts would be from may 2k5.

You do know the drive in the pictures above ISNT a 360 drive, right? Obviously not

And if you dont get the actual 360 drive, i would also be making a paypal dispute about this. But mostly these are just mistakes.

huh so it is an xbox drive. never knew that there was any other drive besides sammy, thom, and phil. Got an email today, they said it was an accident they shipped that one. They want me to send the drive that was sent in error back, I just better not have to pay shipping

Since it was an accident on there part you should NOT have to pay shipping either way. Demand they pay shipping first.
