after i read a game i am left with an iso and a .dvd, do i just burn the .dvd with xbox back up creator or do i put the iso and ss in the isobuild folder and burn that .dvd

just burn the .dvd with clonecd or the iso with imgburn, which ever you prefer! iso is merged with ss, pfi and dmi when you create the backup!...that is assuming u selected complete backup as your option in xbox backup creator
