Alright I just got everything I think I needed today, DVD DL, DVD-RW DL Burner with bitsetting.

Now I want to make some back-ups, I flashed my Hitachi\Samsung GDR-3120L with "Xtreme 2.0" Firmware. Its all I could locate in the Usual Places, other than, a "Stealth v2.2" but it wouldn't run as it was missing essential files.

My question is how do I get my 360 drive to tell windows that theres media in it, its listed as a DVD-Drive.

Do I have to find a more current firmware, or do I have to put it in debug mode?

You need to put it in modeb by using the eject/unplug/plug in method.

First, there is a Hitachi-LG drive and a Toshiba-Samsung Drive. Which is it?

Second, the instructions for getting the drive to work in windows should be included in the documentation with the firmware you downloaded.
