Xlink Kai works, but if I click on play (to start the game of course) it doesn't seem to find default.xbe. Instead it restarts and loads the dash.
Any ideas? Is there a config file that has game locations on the hard drive?

i take it your using XBMC , just back out and go to my programs and load it, it will still work .. the file to edit used to be called kaivectors.xml , not sure if its still called that in newer builds..

Sorry, should have clarified that. I am using XBMC and looking at kai-vectors.xml there is an entry that states
CODE
<title id="0X4D530064">
<vector>Arena/XBox/First Person Shooter/Halo 2</vector>
</title>
The title id is what I am looking at. That number is also the number represented by save agme manager. I don't see why there would be a problem finding default.xbe. You're right about it still working if I manually start the game.
Any Ideas?

its possible it is trying to update the dashboard.... I believe Halo 2 had a dashupdate.xbe file in there and it might be getting conflicted when Kia is booting. If you are running from the HD delete the dashupdate file and try again or reburn without it

It is unknown to me that the Xlink client in XBMC may conflict with dashupdate.xbe, have you experienced this yourself?

It's not confusing the different XBE's I made a temp folder and moved them... So it must be XBMC. I'm about to update to 2.0.1 though so maybe it is fixed.
