Hi!
I've flashed my drive with the 1.0, upgraded to 3.2, then to 3.3 (Which is the one that is on the drive now).

But when I try to flash to 4.1A, I can't get it to work. I have the Abit KN8-SLI (Nforce4) and has flashed with this before. But this time it wont work. I have set it up in BIOS (it finds the X360 DVD-ROM (which is a TS drive btw.)) and I boot with my self made boot USB pen drive (worked flawlessly when I upgraded to 3.3). But now it simply wont work, I've tried changing out the SATA cable, but it still wont work.

Any suggetions? And when I press "esc" key when it wont write or read the firmware I get this: "Value 51, should be 70" or something.

Thanks in advance for answers smile.gif

EDIT: When I hit "esc" it says: "Status: 41 should be 70".

And now I tried using a different USB stick program. And still it won't read the Firmware.

EDIT: I am using the 1.83c version of the Nforce4 version of MTKFLASH.exe.

Try using Xtreme Boot Maker, it makes a custom MTKFlash specifically for your chipset. Also, make sure RAID is disabled in the BIOS and don't power on the 360 until you get to DOS.

Tried this now. Still wont work. I still get the error: "Status: 41, Should be 70".

This is so strange. I have flashed my Xbox with this mobo before flawlessly, but now, it refuses.

I also tried another Xbox which hasn't been flashed before, same error and I tried every SATA port on my mobo. Won't work. sad.gif

I have now also updated my BIOS firmware which resulted to a BIOS reset wink.gif So now that's been tested as well. Still won't work. Same error sad.gif

If I can't get it to work by tomorrow or anyone here knows the error ^^ I will try another mobo ^^

Now I have tried making a fresh copy of the pen drive im using, I boot to DOS, run MTKFLASH (even 2 I've made with xtreme boot maker) and it still wont work. Any chance that MS has done anything with my drive? Since it stopped working after I played Splinter Cell DA.
