I have an XBox with a Phillips DVD Drive. I am getting it modded with a CheaperMod (Aka Xecutioner Chip).

I have a DVD+RW Drive, which I am going to burn Backups onto.

Will this work ?

So just to recap - XBOX With Phillips DVD, Modded With Cheapermod, Backups Created With a +DVD-RW.

Personally, I have a philips drive and RW's do not work. The only disc's that work are CD-rw's and +R and -R. Hope that helps you.

OK - Thanks, as long as I know that DVD+R's work. What sort of Mod Chip do you have ?

Also are there any problems with burning NTSC & PAL Stuff, or does that not matter

yeah, I have a matrix mod chip and so far, I haven't had any problems with any games (NTSC). I haven't tried copying any PAL games yet, but I shouldn't see a problem why it wouldn't work.
