i hate to be the party popper but Modchips will never work on the 0078fk drives as GARYOPA stated.....
The 78 drives use "rolling code" base, so the patch locations are different on the drive.
That is the key parts to be patch vary from drive to drive, not always the same location.
This will STOP on-the-fly patching chips completely, they WILL NEVER work on the new 78 drive.
As for software-side flashing it is possible just new more time in testing the code, plus a new
string-searching patching needs to be designed over the normal-fixed-address patch currently
used on the older drives, since each drive could have code up or down by a few bytes or more.
Still don't personaly have a drive myself, so work is moving along slowly.
Most of the changes in the new v78 drive by MS/Hitachi is aimed towards the market of this
patching modchips like NME, etc. I guess they fell companies marketing modchips for the x360
is a bigger problem than users flashing their drives.
