Hey guys,
I've read here in a few posts of people having the same problem as me. I can play QuickTime MOV files, but they have no video. I was thinking that the reason for this was that the actual QuickTime plugin is not installed. The audio works probably because the audio is in AAC format.
I've tried to install the QuickTime DLL like this:
1) Copy the qtmlClient.dll to the DLL folder under XBMP.
2) The docs now say to make a ShortCut file. I think this is where I'm getting tripped up. I've tried a couple ways. I've made a QuickTime.cut file in the XBMP directory with a <shortcut> tag pointing to the QuickTime dll. I've also tried making a CUT file in my physical root © but to no evail.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks

Only quicktime 5 and 6 works, BUT i have some trailers that says itīs coded in qt5 but still no picture.
And you are right, you get sound becouse of the aac encode.
There is however no need fo extra dll to get quicktime to work as it is supported nativly from the ffmpg that is coded into the default.xbe

Maybe it's dependent on which QT movie you play? I only a have a few movies from the same source (those Half-Life 2 movies)...
