I've dissassembled the xbox, i have a 2 foot sata cable that i plugged into my motherboard and into the xbox dvd (Hitachi v46) and left the power plug plugged into the xbox mb. when i power up the xbox it frag's and when i boot to windows it doesnt see the drive. It is not recognized on the bios level either, any ideas?
BTW: I am using an ICH5 mb and trying to use Maximus-Garyopa v2.2 8in1

1. You need to have the AV cable plugged into the back of the xbox, not the tv, just the xbox
2. You need to get the drive into modeb in order to see it in Windows.
