Hello

Just opened up my 360 with the intention of modding the firmware.
Couldn't get my PC to recognise the drive, so eventually gave up and put everything back together.
Now, it powers up ok, but won't boot up to the dash or disc, but I don't have any red lights or error codes - just a blank screen.

Any ideas???

I just have to ask as a surprising ammount of people dont check, but have you checked to amke sure every cable has been put back properly?

Yeah, checked that.
It won't register any wireless controllers either.

Did you do any work on the 360? like solder any LEDs or anything on? If you have check for solder splashes, if you literally just opened it up and put it back together the only thing i can suggest is to double check all the cables and connections. Also is there any chance you messed your DVD drive up?

I didn't modify a thing. Couldn't get mtkflash to recognise the drive - so I literally just plugged the sata cable back in and re-assembled.

Bought a new core pack yesterday and that works fine with the same power and video cables.

well i have an extra 360 which i did the heatgun trick to and it does what you say yours does now, but mines eventually boots. i hit the green button but the green rings dont animated and the animation doesnt happen till about 15 - 20 seconds later, after that it start up fine even if i shutdown and restart.
