That time again to start buying some more DL DVD's and I go for the Verbatims because I havent had a single problem. Anyway I live in Canada and see that they dropped $5 at Futureshop so was wondering where you buy them and how much you are paying per disk.

Thanks

nice Technical DVD-Rom discussion, lol. probably should be moved to general. a while back futureshop had 20 verbatims for i think $30, i picked up 4 spindles
w4rrior
Opps sorry wrong forum.

Oh yeah and I also picked up 20 for $35 but I only picked up 2 of them thinking that would be enough and then a few coasters later here I am back to the shopping lol. Is this site reliable you think?

The shipping prices are fine but because the items have to cross the boarder you have to pay an outrageous customs duty tax of like 30% :| So spending $100 US and having it shipped would cost me like $160 CND time I convert to currency, pay shipping, etc sad.gif

UPDATE does anyone know if THESE WILL WORK?

They don't ship to Canada and there is an import duty if memory serves me correctly. @w4rrior The Phillips discs are made by CMC Mag and the results really depend on your burner/firmware and your particular 360 drive. So I can't honestly predict the reliability of the discs. My suggestion is to either bite the bullet and spend the money on the discs at regular price at futureshop or hold off for another 20 for $35 special as that is as good as it gets in Canada. @Jameswalter, no kidding. Even the before rebate price beats out Amazon, not to mention Newegg is quicker about processing and shipping than Amazon.

Not compared to Newegg or Rima. wink.gif Truth be told they have done some pretty underhanded stuff so they would have to have a really good special that beat out all others before I would trust them with my money/credit card info.

Problem is there are no office depots near me and I want to be able to walk into staples and tell them office depot is have a sale on the exact same kind of media, I have no proof (unless they will let me go on a PC and load the ad up)

This going to work?
jesterrace777
Not likely although you might be able to print off the add online and take it to them. Although usually they will just brush you off if you don't happen to have an Office Depot near you.
