Anyone ever notice how Brainiac(AKA Professor Fine) is basically just a T1000 ripoff? Thats a good show btw.

Yeah, I stopped watching after the 4th or 5th season. Too much "ping pong" drama (back-and-forth with Clark and Lana) for my taste. My biggest gripe was that Clark never flies (unless he's under the influence of Jor-El). lol

Btw, this season is actually really good. Theyre leaning more towards the superhero theme of the show with adding Green Arrow and all. And Clark also accepting his "destiny."

Yeah, I'm just now catching up on it. They really should progess the story faster. Also, yes the whole Clark and Lana bullshit is annoying. You would think by the 5th season he would have all of his powers, but no, not even in the 6th season.

His powers don't all develop at the same time. He just got his super breath this season. And Superman couldn't fly right away anyways. It was a progression. He could jump further and further until his ability to flight fully developed.

Smallville started out as a great show, great premise, very well-done. But I agree, it's gotten too "Melrose Place" for my tastes. (I guess that's what I mean; I actually don't know anything about Melrose Place )

I mean the whole Clark / Lana / Lois / Chloe / Jimmy / teen-issue-of-the-week teen BS...
