Hello People,

Read alot of info regarding modding etc and have just bought a Samsung SH-D162C which is already flashed for creating backups.

I need someone to point me in the right directon to simply flash my hitachi xbox drive so it can stay in my xbox to play my backups.

Forgot to add that my computer does not have a serial ata so can i buy an adapter for my computer?

In a nutshell..

Yes you buy a PCi to SATA card.. (or USB works for hitachi) remove it from the xbox.. connect it to your computer.. flash the DVD firmware..

You read alot about modding, but cant find a guide for flashing a hitachi drive :f.

Have been reading yes but it came across that they were flashing for connecting to a pc for creating backups, i only need to flash so it will play backups
