I just tried to flash my ms-25 drive for the first time.

now, I have an A7N8x-e Deluxe mobo.. and alot of the talk on xbox scene is that the Sata controller is not compatable

anywho, the first time i booted up with my floppy, when MTKflash ran I had 2 options.

SATA Master
SATa Slave


I selected Master, and it said MTKFlash was not compatable with my SATA controller.

so, I updated the BIOS on My motherboard. Also updated the Drivers for the Sata controller so that when I ran Xxtreme boot maker, it would sucessfully make a new MTKFlash.

so, I did all that.

Now when I boot to MTKFlash, I get 4 options:

Xtreme Master
Xtreme slave
SATA Master
SATA Slave

When I select either of the Xtreme options, it just hangs.

and still when I select either SATA option, it says it's not compatable.

I'm probably going to have to bite it and buy a PCI sata card.. however I was curious to know if there was anyone else experiencing hangs like mine.
