Here is the deal.

I just bought a 360 and GOT MAD lucky with a samsung MS25 drive.
(Originally got a HLG made on 2006-08-08.. So i exchanged it in fear of 0078FK drive. )

Drive says:
TS-943A
F/W = Ms25
Ver. A
April 2006
H/W: 005

Now. The new C4E 4.2 a/b says this is only for the ms28 with e66 error after dash update? OR for any drive?

I will be using the X360SAM 0.5 which is in the usual place along with the latest Xtremeboot maker to prepare my Flash drive.

4.2 a/b REV. 1 (this is the key part here, REV 1) is the one that is for the consoles with the E66...since you are before the cutoff date and shouldn't get the E66, you should be able to use 4.2 a/b regular and be fine...

I flashed my sammy MS25 last night with the latest 4.2A firmware and X360SAM 0.5. Worked fine with now problems.
