I have a fileserver on my lan at home and I wanted to use my Xbox to stream divx and svcd's.
However, in the middle of the movie the picture gets all messed up and lights on my switch are on full speed. Anyone had this problem? This only happenes when I stream over the lan, not if I copy the move to the HD.

Thanks! tongue.gif

emmi
Yep, it's 100mbit Full Duplex and I have tried both using DHCP and Static IP.

Streaming from hdd or cd?
emmi
Im streaming from HDD, to be exact, from my fileserver (Windows 2003 Enterprise).

Ahh, smb share.....

Smb is still very very buggy and have issues like the once you describe.

For some it work flawlessly (more or less) and for some it forks out after 5 minutes.

Use relax as a streamserver or xbmsp.

Hmm I will try that. Thanks for the help. beerchug.gif
