All my originals work fine, but backups all say that insert in xbox360 error, anyone know whats going on whit this? When i put the cd'd in my pc's drive, they show up as blank discs.

Extracted with Schtrom 3.1 and burned with Clone CD, game is Dead Rising.

Firmware is Xtreme 4.2a

Thanks for any help.

I figured out that my booktype was not set to dvd-rom, but dvd info pro will not let me change it. I upgraded to the newest firmware from geebee's link on his tutorial, no luck. But. Nero 7 lets me change the book type for the burner when i do "Burn Image" in it. Has anyone tried burning backups with nero, and if so, how well does it work?

Thanks in advance

I used DVD Decrypter. there is a tut on how to use it. I have a sony to and it burned fine for my first game

you can change the booktype of that drive, I have done it... Sony just rebadges other drives, many are Lite-On. I am sure you can find what your drive REALLY is with google (I think it is a BenQ DW1640), then use your burning app to bitset. I recommend ImgBurn as it is the same as the DVDDecrypter software, but newer, and reads the layerbreak from the .dvd file like it is supposed to.

Ok, I changed the booktype and burned in imgburn and i get the same error. When i view the disc in dvdinfo pro it says booktype: DVD-ROM. I have used hp, memorex, and verbatim discs.

Should i be burning the image1.000 file or the image1.dvd file, i have tried both in imgburn, i get the same error everytime.

setting the booksetting or not won't change a thing because since FW 3.1 I think, the firware overwrite it to always dvd-rom wink.gif
