Thats awesome for a couple of hours work. In fact, that's just awesome. It looks like you spent absolutely ages on it. Very nice.

Wow! Very well done.
custom.paint
nice mod, make sure you clearcoat it!
b15ginz
nice..very nice.

Not quite sure if I wanna clear coat it. I used an ultra flat black for a reason. Don't really wanna mess that up tongue.gif
grim_d
it lacks detail but bar that it's well nice considering it only took 2 hours.

Well I should add I'm not quite finished as grim_d pointed out its missing detail in the teeth area. I plan on borrowing an airbrush and finishing it that way.

Any other constructive criticism is more then welcome....

Any other mods planned?

nice job, really clean. ph34r.gif

Just use a satin or flat clearcoat. Art work is very vulnerable to damage so I would highly reccomend clearing it.

Don't clearcoat it. Flat black is the shit. I've got the same idea for mine but with a different logo. Be careful with that thing it'll scratch easy!

Paint I used was some Krylon camo. ultra flat black, and fusion gloss red.... cans were only $2.99 at the local ace hardware.....

surprsingly the paints not that vulnerable.... I can run my fingernail across it and it doesn't do anything...

I didn't get a hold of an airbrush so I just made a pattern to do the detail on the mouth area....

Thanks for all the complements... As case mods go I think the only other thing I wanna do is change the LED lights to red. If anyone can point me to a link that will show me how to and what leds i'd be much appreciated....

I'm gonna get a real nice air brush and then see how well I can do flames....... (The bottom half looks a little plane to me hehehe........) I'm going to eventually do both my controllers in a similar fashion, except clear coat the controllers sence their being handled so much.

First of all... it looks VERY good and very slick. Didn't go overboard with an un-needed window or do anything else really, just a VERY good, pretty original paint job. I really like it.

My question: how did you make the blood "splatter?"
I think its really good and unique.

Thanks.
ian99rt
The red splatter was really simple to do, although the black paint made it a little difficult.

All I did was sand the box down, spray 1 tack coat, then 2 full coats of gloss red. let it dry 15 mins. taped off the symbol and then sprayed it with flat block. While the black was still wet (only about 1-2 mins.) I dabbed the black paint with a wrinkled up grocery bag(plastic). It leaves a really cool pattern and takes very little extra work.
