Here is a premium console I picked up off of ebay but the guy never mentioned these details I later found out about it. It has a hole cut in the bottom exposing a small chip. I am not sure what this is for. Also, there seems to be two extra connectors soldiered to the motherboard near the hard drive connectors. Also not sure what these are for. There is also a hole cut in the case on the hard drive side for running a wire through for easy access. It powers on and runs with absolutely no red lights. It just doesn't play discs. I am sure many of you out there know what the deal is with the window and the connectors. If so, please inform me so I can update this listing. It has the Hitachi drive.
