I have an xbox 360 that I just bought yesterday at Costco and it has the Toshiba-Samsung H-943 ms=25 drive. I flashed the drive with the Xtreme 2.4a firmware and it flashed fine. The xbox 360 will not play burned games or original games now. Maybe I should have flashed with the 2.4a that was in the Xtreme24a_update package instead of the normal Xtreme24 folder.
Does anybody know the commands to flash back to the original firmware?
I've tried mtkflash w /m orig.bin but it didn't work. Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.

Do you mean xtreme4.2, cause I don't think there was a 2.4. If this is the case, then the enable0800 disc (DVD+R DL) must be used to reflash the drive. Try reading the readme next time. Did you copy the dvd key into the new firmware, that would be the only reason originals wouldn't work.

Sorry, yes I mean the Xtreme 4.2 not 2.4.
I copied the orig.bin off the jump drive and copied it into the
Xtreme42 folder and hit the "make x42a.bin". Copied the new file
to the jump drive and then flashed the drive. It flashed it fine.
But drive won't play backups or original games.

So I use the Enable0800 disc to flash back to the original firmware.
Is the command the same then? mtkflash w /m orig.bin to flash back?
Or do I follow the "Flashing your drive with Xtreme4.0/4.1 firmware installed" part
of the .nfo file.

What's better about x360sam? Was looking at the .nfo and didn't really say much about that.
