When holding the volume-up or -down buttons on the Xbox remote while viewing a DVD with interlacing set to Auto, the playback stutters, and the volume may only go up or down one, perhaps two notches at a time. It's as if there's not enough processing power to rapidly load/animate the slider.
If you turn the interlacing to a less complex mode or completely turned off, the slider works. Is there a way to turn off the animation for the slider and mute icons?

I am not 100% sure about this but, this is same with PM3 right?

No, this does not occur in PM3. In fact, the volume slider in PM3 is not really animated in anyway, in that it doesn't "pop-in" or "pop-out" when the volume buttons are pressed. It merely appears when pressed and disappears automatically if no buttons are pressed within a second or so.
Again, the slider works in MC360 theme when you have interlacing turned off.

So, no one has any ideas on how to disable the animation? This can't be done from any of the .XML files, right?
