anybody have this prob. so of them alomst even freeze up and the sound glitches as well, is this a disc or hardware problem. the 360 is only a couple months old, and the game is brand new. its pissing me off, killing my eye candy

also at times in the game when playing i can hear this high pitched sound coming from the dvd drive.

i had a similar problem, then the game couldn't load any chapters properly either... i have a suspicion that its a scratched disc, but not 100% sure

ive had a few problems with gears during the middle of gamplay sometimes it owuld read dirty disc but my disc is fine or it froze once but only on gears never hppened on any other gaem since .

How many hours have you guys been playing when this happens? If you play the thing all night the system is bound to get hot and start messing up. Maybe your little brother is stuffing crayons in the box .

it might be an hour into gaming when it happens to me, so i just made my own intercooler and now the bastard blows alomost cold and the case is cold!

I've been having a similar problem where my cutscenes skip without me pressing anything. I also have been having the described high pitched sounds from my DVD drive, yet there is no visible physical damage to the disc.

End of chapter 3 cutscene glitched a few times but that's about it for me.
