First off, I hope this is in the right place.

Anyway......

This is a way to view .txt files on your 360 as an image file.

These are programs from the earlier days of the PSP hacking scene, but I figured they could be of some use to us 360 users.

PC --> Jpeg Book

OSX-> PSPBook

What they do is take a plain text file you provide, and convert it into a jpeg.

I dont know about the one for OSX, but the PC program gives you all sorts of options. Like, adjusting margin and font size, and even final display resolution. For people with 16:9 tvs, it would probably be best to go with the PSP screen setting, but there's also settings for QVGA, and Custom Size. One more thing, for some reason the image viewer on the 360 cuts off the outer edge of the photo. I would recommend margin settings of 32-Top, 32-Side, and 32-Bottom(you'll understand when you use the program). Also a larger font size might be helpful to make reading easier. 16+ is good.

Remember, it must be a PLAIN TEXT file. True, that does limit what you can do with it, but its good for game walkthroughs, cheats, etc.

If you want pretty pictures with your selected reading, I guess you'll just have to take the time to scan whatever you're wanting to view later on the 360, and just put those jpegs on something (disc, ipod, etc.)

Thanks, and hope this helps somebody. biggrin.gif
